Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of the Koobex Web website. By using this website, you agree to use it in a lawful and reasonable manner. They do not replace a client’s signed services agreement or the annexes expressly incorporated into it. Draft general service terms do not apply until approved and expressly incorporated into a signed agreement.

1.Purpose of the website

The Koobex Web website presents the website design, modernization, development and maintenance services offered by Koobex.

Information on the website is provided for general purposes and may change without notice.

2.Services and estimates

Service descriptions on the website are intended to provide a general overview of the available plans.

The final scope of a project may vary depending on, among other things:

  • the number of pages;
  • technical complexity;
  • requested features;
  • the amount of content;
  • photography or video needs;
  • integrations;
  • custom development needs.

A detailed estimate or proposal may be provided before work begins.

3.Pricing

Prices shown as “Starting at” are starting prices.

The final price may vary depending on the actual scope of the project.

Unless otherwise stated, prices are in Canadian dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes.

4.Revisions, approval and satisfaction

Initial scope. The scope of a project is the one defined in the proposal or agreement accepted by the client, including the plan, number of pages, features and deliverables.

Revision rounds. A round of revisions is a set of corrections submitted by the client in a single consolidated request. The Essential plan includes one round of revisions. The Growth and Signature plans include unlimited revisions before approval and launch, limited to reasonable adjustments within the initial scope.

Exclusions. The following are not considered revisions:

  • new features;
  • additional pages or sections;
  • major changes in direction after the project direction has been approved;
  • any service not included in the plan.

Such requests may be quoted separately at the current rate.

Approval before launch. The website is launched after the client’s written approval, which may be given by email. After this approval, new changes are billed separately or handled through Koobex Care. However, corrections falling under Koobex’s contractual or legal obligations remain covered.

Satisfaction guarantee. Koobex undertakes to correct any discrepancies between the deliverables and the agreed scope. This commitment is not an unconditional refund guarantee and does not limit the client’s rights under applicable law.

Precedence of the agreement. Subject to applicable law, in the event of any inconsistency, the terms of the signed proposal or agreement prevail over the information presented on this website.

When the Koobex Care service is offered, it may include, among other things:

  • hosting;
  • standard domain;
  • SSL;
